Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Installmaintain and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings primarily O&G Industry
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
Read and interpret electrical schematics blueprints and technical drawings
Install and connect wiring conduits switches transformers circuit breakers and other electrical components
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
Investigate and problem solve todeterminemost efficient way to install changes to existing electrical service
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other trades to complete projects efficiently
Participate in 24/7 Field On-Call Schedule rotation (approx. 1 week every 1-2 months)
Lead mentor and direct less experienced electricians
Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diplomarequired
5 years ofIndustrialElectricalConstructionexperience
2years experienceOil and Gas Industry
Equipment operating experience preferred (excavator manlift skid steeretc)
JourneymanLicense preferred
Strong experience in oil & gas facilities (upstream midstream or downstream preferred)
Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems power distribution motor controls and hazardous area classifications
Strong knowledge of NEC (or applicable electrical code)
Ability to travel to job sites asrequired
Experience with Class I Div 1 & 2 installations
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Commitment to workplace safety
Ability to work overtime and travel to job sites asrequired
OSHA 10/30 or equivalent safety certifications
