Job Description:

Microchips Microcontroller business unit is looking for a talented experienced leader who is passionate about process improvement to join our team as an Associate Director of Product Engineering.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and map current MCU workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks
  • Align improvement initiatives with MCU strategic goals for operational excellence
  • Facilitate change management and stakeholder engagement for successful adoption
  • Lead improvement projects to enhance efficiency scalability & quality
  • Develop new software tools to modernize & enhance several existing ones

Requirements/Qualifications:

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or related field;
  • 15 years in process improvement or business process engineering
  • 15 years in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Expertise in process mapping tools data analytics and ERP systems
  • Strong communication networking and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position which could be performed in the US is $130k - $265k.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location skills and experience.
