Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
Youll play a key role in overseeing the overall quality costs development lead time and system/product performance including safety demonstrations when required. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as RAM safety cybersecurity sub-system software hardware and validation & verification teams) analyze input needs and requirements and design solutions to meet project goals and much more.
Youll specifically take care of proposing system/product specifications optimizing and measuring system/product performances and ensuring the deployability of your system/product by projects.
Well look to you for:
Contributing as a key member of the project/program engineering team
Applying processes methods and tools as outlined in project/program plans
Collaborating with the System Architect and Program Development Manager/Project Engineering Manager/System Deployment & Integration Manager to contribute to system/product design and specification
Analyzing clarifying and confirming input requirements and needs
Conducting conceptual design including system models design studies and technical de-risking
Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts and solve interfaces
Formalizing and maintaining system specifications and ensuring traceability of documentation
Participating in technical reviews and supporting the implementation of design revisions
Contributing to continuous improvement and workload estimations
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

Degree in Engineering IT Computer Science ECE EEE or equivalent (mandatory)
Knowledge of (Model-Based) System Engineering
Understanding of product and domain knowledge

Experience with design for safety cybersecurity and RAM compliance
Proficiency in requirement management and writing
Skills in concept generation system architecting and system interfaces
Strong English communication skills
Ability to influence and guide others effectively
