Through embracing key departmental objectives focused on customer satisfaction by engaging with suppliers analyzing data and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain your collaboration with crossfunctional teams to uphold quality standards lead supplier qualifications and resolve nonconformance issues will support business continuity and product excellence.

Core Functions:
- Collaborate with site teams and suppliers to address quality issues implement corrective actions and drive supplier quality improvements.
- Train suppliers on required quality system processes aligned with site expectations.
- Work in real time with internal and external partners to resolve supplier issues affecting production inspection and material flow.
- Manage SCARs NCRs and daily MRB activities providing handson support for disposition and containment.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement to ensure supplier compliance with contractual technical and quality requirements.
- Maintain ownership of material compliance status for existing and updated regulations.
- Develop maintain and oversee Incoming Inspection criteria and supplierrelated quality compliance.
- Review procedures work instructions and inspection plans for accuracy robustness and alignment with site practices.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on product quality and schedule requirements.
- Conduct onsite and remote supplier audits to promote standardization waste reduction and continuous improvement.
- Build and manage supplier quality evaluation and control systems.
- Track and improve supplier performance metrics including certification programs.
- Monitor report and drive improvements in key supply chain KPIs such as OTD DPMO and COPQ.
- Perform additional duties supporting plant quality and manufacturing priorities.
QualificationsBackground/Expertise:
- Bachelors degree in engineering quality or a related field required
- Experience as an SQE or similar role in manufacturing quality control.
- Handson experience with quality inspection auditing testing methods and incoming material evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards manufacturing processes and shopfloor quality support.
- Familiarity with ISO 13485 ISO 9001 and FDA 21 CFR 820.
- Proficiency in MS Office IQMS and quality management systems.
- Understanding of material compliance requirements (REACH RoHS Prop 65 Conflict Minerals etc.).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills in fastpaced manufacturing environments.
- Ability to travel for supplier visits and audits.
- Proven capability to drive continuous improvement and reduce risk.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including presenting to varied audiences.
- Ability to travel for supplier visits and audits as required.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive continuous improvement efforts tied to site performance and risk reduction.
- Strong communication and presentation skills tailored to audience (oral written and/or presentation) including listening.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Regularly required to sit stand and walk.
- Requires light physical activity 50% of workday on production floor
