We are hiring a Senior Seasoning Creator I for our Taste & Wellbeing division. You will lead seasoning development projects and support knowledge sharing to drive functional business value growth according to organizational goals and EH&S policies.

Youll report to the Creation Manager and will be based in Sao Paulo; working four days onsite and one from home a week.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Seasoning Preparation & Evaluation

• Prepare seasoning samples as requested for customer briefs applications needs technology performance assessment QC standards physical testing.
• Produce complex new seasoning creations or modify existing seasonings to meet customer requirements internal testing needs or new technology development for multiple seasoning types with an advanced level of understanding for a many seasoning types
• Coordinate the evaluation of seasoning materials developed internally or from external sources and assess potential for seasoning creation

Knowledge Sharing & Expertise

• Serve as technical expert to marketing sales and customers for flavour profile raw materials and nutritional aspects of multiple seasoning types and be able to discuss the science behind the aspects of seasoning performance
• Coordinate the participation of other technical functions to learn about all departments directly related to completing customer briefs (sensory consumer understanding regulatory flavour delivery manufacturing)
• Coach train motivate and manage seasoning assistants and seasoning creators

Environmental Health & Safety

• Maintain a safe clean and organized lab environment following EH&S policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines and participate in designing the rules which are required

You - Your professional profile includes:

• Polytechnic or Bachelors Degree in Food Engineer Chemistry Chemistry Engineer Biology Pharmacy
• 7 years of experience as a Seasoning Creator AFTER completion of Givaudan Seasoning Trainee Programme or accepted industry equivalent
• Seasoning Creation experience in more than one country/region and across multiple product categories
• Expert level tasting skills with an expert level ability to understand how to adjust a seasoning formulation in the direction needed for modifications
• Project management skills with a success record to be considered an excellent choice to lead large development projects including the largest customer briefs and technical development projects in multiple applications areas
• Expert level knowledge of local and regional regulatory requirements for seasonings
