Job Summary
We currently have an opportunity for a Field Auditor to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in ensuring high-quality compliant delivery across our essential contracts. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager youll help deliver highquality outcomes that support our essential services.
What Youll Do
This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:
- Conducting planned site inspections to validate the quality safety and compliance of maintenance and refurbishment works.
- Documenting findings thoroughly ensuring adherence to Australian Standards contractual requirements and Downer procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying trends risks and opportunities to uplift service delivery.
- Building positive collaborative relationships with subcontractors tenants and internal teams to achieve high-quality results.
- Representing Downer as a subject matter expert in maintenance compliance and contributing to quality assurance initiatives.
What Youll Bring
- Trade experience ideally including building refurbishment and residential environments.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements and Australian Standards relevant to construction maintenance and service delivery.
- Experience conducting field-based audits or inspections with an eye for quality safety and continuous improvement.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to influence support and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently across varied environments.
