Job Summary
Job Summary
The Web Software Developer will maintain and update web-based applications databases and servers for existing web-based software. Responsible for writing advanced web authoring code designing or integrating graphics and databases for the web site(s) and keeping abreast of the latest hardware and software needed for the maintenance of the site(s) on a continual basis.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Work with Director to create and manage custom developed web-based tools. Maintain and troubleshoot existing for several websites and web-based systems Performs maintenance on web-based tools and databases as required. Participate in the change management problem management and other IT related processes. Performs upgrades on equipment and software packages. Troubleshoots debugs and implements software code. Contact and work with administrators other team members and external clients as required. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in field relating to Computer Science. Three (3) years of practical work experience in computer-related field. Three (3) years hands-on experience working in web-based software environment or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience in similar role. Must be adept in Microsoft Office products. Proficient in HTML CSS and Web Accessibility with working knowledge of relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
IT certification and UT Arlington experience. Good communication skills. Please detail any related experience in your online resume. Experience using Adobe ColdFusion and MS SQL .
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM This is an on-campus in-person position at UTA not a hybrid or remote eligible.
