The ER Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned patients. S/he carries out these responsibilities independently within the guidelines of accepted nursing practice medical direction and hospital policies procedures and standards. Qualified candidates should be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current NH RN licensure. Two years of Emergency Department experience is preferred. ACLS Certification required; PALS Certification recommended. Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia experience required. CEN and TNCC Certification preferred.
