Acquisition of direct and indirect materials.Job Description
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Release of Purchase Orders
- Processing of direct or indirect material purchase orders created through an MRP system in addition to the creation of purchase orders from manual requisitions for local purchases or performing services in the Plant.
- Purchase Order Tracking
- Confirmation of delivery of purchase orders based on the dates established by the system including the confirmation of shipment bill numbers and the update of the MRP system.
- Quotation Process
- Quotation of new direct or indirect materials and/or re-quotation of materials of continuous use.
- Supplier Development
- Search and evaluation of local suppliers of indirect material and services.
- Cost Reduction Projects
- Implementation and administration of direct and/or indirect material cost reduction projects based on consumption needs.
- Logistics
- Implementation and monitoring of shipping routes (supplier) previously established by the company.
- KPI
- Generates/maintains supplier service metrics and promotes continuous improvement.
- Other functions
- Performs some other function similar or related to their responsibilities and experience as the department or company requires.

Education and Qualifications
Education: Career Completed ENGINEERING / LAE Desirable
Experience: 1 years in similar position Desirable
Language: Spanish English Desirable
Requirements: Supply Chain IMMEX Program billing Planning and Purchasing Procedure Quality Policy and objectives.
Skills: Capacity for Analysis and Synthesis Persuasion and Negotiation Resistance to Pressure Planning and Organization
