As a Finance Supervisor at Thermo Fisher Scientific youll guide a team of financial analysts while contributing to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.
Youll oversee financial processes including monthly close forecasting budgeting and reporting while collaborating with business leaders to provide strategic insights and support data-driven decisions.
You will be responsible for regional financial consolidation and serve as the finance partner to enabling functions ensuring aligned planning performance management and resource prioritization.

REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience or Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of experience in finance/accounting with at least 1 year in a leadership role
Preferred Fields of Study: Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration or related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles financial analysis and reporting
Experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and financial planning tools (Hyperion)
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
Excellent project management and process improvement capabilities
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate at all levels
Experience managing month-end close forecasting and budgeting processes
Demonstrated ability to lead coach and develop team members
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Knowledge of global financial regulations and compliance standards.
Professional fluency in English required; Spanish is beneficial
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Strong business acumen and understanding of complex organizational structures
