Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Move loads around the truck yard and to customer sites as needed
- Ability to back up trailers to dock doors often with other trailers on either side of the dock
- Verify loads for accuracy and deliver as instructed
- Use of other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks manual jacks and forklifts
- Help customer and producer site with loading and unloading truck with product up to 50 lbs
- Basic vehicle maintenance clean out truck before or after moving
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
Requirements:
- Class A
- Good customer service & teamwork skills
- Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day
- Able to work in all types of environments including inclement weather
- Good backing skills
- Recent verifiable driving experience or related
- Current DOT medical card
- No DUI/DWI Careless/Reckless driving citations or revoked/suspended license in the past 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
- MVR required for interview (current dated within 30 days of application)
- Prior to employment able to pass a complete DOT physical drug screen criminal background check and road test
- Available for any shift.
- Able to lift 35 pounds.
- Work jobs that have repetitive motion.
- Follow safe work practices and rules.
- Able to prove they have a right to work in the United States.
- Successfully pass a physicians examination drug screen and background check.
- Willing to have a baseline audiometric test
- Prefer high school graduates or GEDs
- Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job
Pay:
The range is $24.00 $26.00 per hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidates experience work location skills etc.
Sign on bonus:
- $500 at 90 days
- $1000 at 180 days
- $1000 at 12 months
- $1000 at 18 months
