Surgical Care Tech
Department: Pre-op/PACU
Location: Chelsea MI
Pay: $15.79-22.11 per hour based upon applicable experience applicable shift premiums (when working afternoons overnights and/or weekends)

Position Purpose:
Surgical Care Techs in the Pre-op and PACU department care for patients before and after their surgical our Operating Room at Chelsea more than 5000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology orthopedics ophthalmology general surgery otorhinolaryngology podiatry plastic surgery and spine surgery.
The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects Endoscopes and other related equipment as assigned. Performs surgical care tech duties as assigned (i.e. transporting patients vital signs performs urine pregnancy test discontinuing IVs etc) Performs clerical duties as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers equipment terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department etc.)
Shift Available: Day Shift (start times vary between 5:45-8:30am)
Status Available: Full time benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period every two weeks)
