Are you skilled in equipment operation and passionate about maintaining production quality In our Richmond VA location were looking for a motivated Production Technicianto be a key player in our manufacturing process here at Bizerba! OurProduction Techniciansplay a crucial part in minimizing downtime optimizing equipment performance and ensuring that products meet high-quality standards. Their work supports the overall efficiency and success of the production process.
Your tasks
Constructing mechanical/controls items in an industrial facility
Full line assembly start/finish
Participates in continual process improvement
Responsible for the safe use of basic shop tools and equipment
Responsible to keep work area clean and orderly
Follows all quality processes and procedures as established
Must be able to sit or stand and lift to 50 pounds infrequently
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor
Your profile
High School Diploma GED Trade Degree or equivalent experience
One year of basic mechanical assembly or related experience preferred
Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to lead team projects and work within team projects
Problem-Solving Able to investigate root cause and suggest workable solutions
Deductive Reasoning Ability to apply general rules to problems to produce sensible answers
Ability to communicate effectively present and influence credibly at all levels
Strong time management skills urgency and aptitude for effectively prioritizing tasks within multiple projects
