We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing team as a Co-op. This position will provide the opportunity to gain real-world experience in the aerospace industry while contributing to key projects and initiatives that drive operational efficiency and cost savings. The Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing Co-op will work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement engineering finance and suppliers to support the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in supplier identification evaluation and selection to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop a database to create successful Requests for Quotes (RFQs) with high award ratio
- Support the development of Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
- Analyze supplier cost structures market trends and spend data to identify cost reduction opportunities.
What You Will Learn:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define sourcing requirements and ensure seamless communication.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics including quality delivery and cost and propose improvement initiatives as needed.
- Assist in supplier relationship management activities including issue resolution and risk mitigation.
- Generate reports presentations and dashboards to communicate progress and findings to key stakeholders.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelors or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
