genU is seeking an Assistant Production Coordinator to join our Timber division in this role you will support the Production Coordinator in keeping our production running smoothly. Youll help manage day-to-day operations work closely with supervisors and production teams and ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.

This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving supporting staff and driving continuous improvement on the workshop floor.

What youll do

Assist with production planning sequencing and resource allocation;
Monitor production performance and escalate risks or constraints that may impact output safety or quality;
Provide on-floor leadership and support to supervisors and production teams to maintain smooth workflow and resolve operational issues as they arise;
Assist with onboarding and training of production staff in relation to production processes machinery and standard operating procedures;
Provide support to individuals living with a disability in the workplace
Contribute to safety by promoting safe work practices and supporting safety initiatives.

What youll bring

Genuine desire to support individuals living with disability in the workplace;
Proven experience in a supervisory team leader or coordination role within an operational setting;
Strong practical understanding of production processes workflow and shop-floor operations;
Basic to intermediate computer skills including the ability to use production systems email and standard business software;
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with production staff supervisors and management;
Experienced and having a passion and focus on ensuring safety in the work environment and identifying risks and hazards.

(Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry well help guide you through this.)
