Overview:
With close supervision and mentorship performs basic assignments receiving specific and detailed instruction as to tasks required and results expected. Integrated into a multi-disciplinary team so that they may participate in as much of the process as possible.Responsibilities:
Supports the project team to modify documents and drawings with mentorship and detailed instructions regarding tasks and expected results
Performs architectural assignments within given parameters alongside respective project team
Assists with the preparation of presentations and performing basic analytical tasks for team/client review as needed
Helps compile data and conducts research for the project team
Collaborates with team members and may work on multiple projects
Participates in officewide initiatives and/or intern specific projects with presentations to peer group
Cultural
Performs work in a manner that demonstrates an appreciation for the firms cultural norms including a commitment to quality innovation learning and growth
Becomes skilled in fostering and maintaining a collaborative professional working relationship with the project team
Fosters awareness of the firms principles of design excellence in the integration of responsible and sustainable design practice with the art of design
Financial
Develops understanding of the financial implications of overhead and chargeable time including accountability to project plan and planned utilization rate
Revenue or Opportunity Generation
Fosters awareness of the importance of growing and maintaining client relationships and the basic concept of business development
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
Currently earning a professional degree from an Architecture program; accredited program preferred
Licenses and Certifications
Entry-level emerging professional on the path to Architectural licensure
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Advanced expert-level experience knowledge or skills
Intermediate experience knowledge or skills required to produce high-quality solutions or work
Basic familiar with primary concepts or capabilities and can perform elementary functions
Basic skills in Rhino and Grasshopper required; intermediate preferred
Basic skills in Revit required
Basic skills in MS Office Suite required
Basic ability to communicate both verbally and in writing reqiured
Basic ability to work in team environment required
Basic ability to effectively meet deadlines required
Base Salary Range: $20 to $25/hour for Chicago Denver Los Angeles New York San Diego Seattle and Washington DC locations only.
The estimate displayed represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in the above locations only. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity experience education specialty and training.
