QA Inspector (CMM)
As a QA Inspector you will play a key role in ensuring that materials components and finished products meet required quality standards and specifications. You will support the delivery of highquality compliant products by carrying out precise inspections maintaining accurate records and contributing to continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inprocess and final inspections on mechanical and manufactured components.
- Use a range of precision measuring equipment including callipers micrometers gauges and CMMs.
- Interpret engineering drawings technical specifications and quality standards accurately.
- PC-Dmis and Zeiss Calypsosoftware
- Record inspection results clearly and maintain comprehensive QA documentation.
- Identify and report nonconformities supporting root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
- Assist with internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
- Carry out additional duties relevant to the role as required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience working as a QA/QC Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Timeserved apprenticeship or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Solid understanding of inspection methods measurement tools and quality control processes.
- Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
