Interim MarketingAutomation Manager (Parental Leave Cover)

Now you have the chance to be part of an innovative andcreative phase in Scandics history. We are looking for a highly motivatedMarketing Automation Manager for maternity cover starting immediately untilOctober 2027 with a possible this role you will act as theBusiness Owner of our Marketing Automation platform bridging the gap betweencommercial strategy and technical execution to drive revenue loyalty and customerengagement.

You will develop and manage automated and personalizedomnichannel communication. Beyond execution you will have a strongcommercial focus being responsible for setting up business case andfollow-ups to ensure the activities align with strong performance andreaching KPIs.

Your responsibilities include planning implementing andoverseeing automated customer and member journeys marketing campaigns optimizationfollow ups and other digital interactions in an omnichannel setup. Youllcraft journeys for specific target audiences ensuring timely and relevantcommunication while maintaining a high standard of customer experience throughengaging addition to journey and campaign logic youll also playa collaborative role in enabling data flows dynamic content logic andpersonalization scripting that supports scalable data-driven communication.

Who are you

Success in this role requires customer focus and commercialunderstanding. You are an analytical thinker who enjoys the technical challengelikes to scope requirements and understands the why behind thedata and features in Marketing Cloud.

Our CRM teams work in Salesforce Marketing Cloud andSalesforce Data360. We operate in an omnichannel environment and therefore weexpect you to have a strong interest in learning additional platforms andchannels for orchestration and personalization. You are responsible for our custom templates in Salesforcebased on data and design and the implementation of the logic required tovisualize the content with support from UX Content and Tech teams.

Were seeking someone with experience in a similar role ideally within thetravel industry. You should be adept at creating dynamic personalizedcommunication and be a proficient data-driven problem solver. Your passionshould lie in fostering long-term customer engagement and comprehendingcustomer needs throughout their lifecycle. You love to be at the forefront andare constantly finding new automated solutions. You follow the CRM teams work processesand strive to use AI to offer customers a smooth customer journey and workefficiency. Experience in AMPscript and a deep understanding ofpersonalization scripting is a big plus as youll be hands-on in building andmaintaining dynamic content across languages and segments. Ideally youre alsocomfortable collaborating with data and tech teams to define requirements setpriorities and manage data extensions query activities and the ingestion ofnew customer data streams.

Your key responsibilities will include;
Platform Ownership.
Act as the Business Owner for the marketing automation platform. You will own the platform governance including quality naming standards documentation and dynamic content standards.

IT & Tech Collaboration. Act as the primary lead for all development involving the marketing automation platform. You will bridge business and technology by writing user stories defining technical specifications and set priorities to ensure successful delivery.

Commercial Optimization. Use insights data and A/B testing to optimize automated journeys and platform performance. Your focus will be on driving continuous improvement in engagement personalization grades and conversion.

Scalable Automation. Build and enhance trigger-based flows defining the technical requirements for real-time activation and ensuring data readiness.

Commercial Strategy. Develop business targets for new automation opportunities and perform follow-up on performance against overarching KPIs.

Lifecycle Management. Develop and optimize automated customer journeys across all stages and channels from acquisition to post-stay and retention.
