Schedule: Full Time; 40 hours; 1stshift; Monday-Friday
(with night and weekend availability as needed to meet the needs of the program)
Program Summary:
During their admission to the January Center adult males who are under the supervision of the Department of Correction or the Court Support Services Division are provided with residential treatment to address their history of problem sexual behavior. Additionally clients are provided with psycho-educational support and case management services. The goal is to reduce recidivism through establishing positive behavioral change.
Position Summary:
The Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily programmatic operations including program development supervision staff training quality assurance and program evaluation. This position works closely with the programs clinical supervisor and agency leadership to ensure the implementation of effective programming and continuity of treatment services and has on-call responsibilities.
The ideal applicant will poses a clinical masters degree have demonstrated leadership experience working with justice involved individuals and have an understanding of restorative justice services and related best practice standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead support and supervise the operations of the January Center Program
Implement and oversee systems and processes to enhance service effectiveness and contract compliance
Build and maintain productive relationships with state agencies and community partners
Oversee staff performance training and professional development
Provide on-call support and leadership coverage as needed
Qualifications:
Requirements:
A Clinical Masters Degree with 5 years related experience including: 3 years in a Program Management/Supervisory position is strongly preferred
Bachelors Degree with 8 years related experience including: 3 years in a Program Management/Supervisory position may be considered
ValidDrivers License
Regular and predictable attendance is required for this position
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection newly hired employees starting in January will be required to attend a mandatory two (2) day New Hire Orientation that will be held in our Roscommon office in Middletown.
