Job Summary
Position Role: Provide HSS advice to Comd COS DCOS and Bde Units as well as planning HSS to Ops and Exercises
Responsibilities:
- Provide the focus for Med matters in the HQ within the context of Div Med Br direction and HQ SG policies.
- Responsible for Med Support to the Bde and affiliated units in line with current and future operations.
- Provide day to day advice to Bde staff on AMS matters and on support to trg of Bde units.
- Staff Officer in CSS Ops at on exercise and operations and act as a general G1/G4 staff officer as required.
- Oversee Role 1 medical assets including assurance and validation activity as required to support AMS and Div Med Br policy.
- AMS MS guidance to Bde and unit staff in collaboration with Div Med Branch.
- Provision of career advice to AMS soldiers within Bde units and input to AMS soldiers SJARs as required.
- Monitor Medical deployability for all 1 DRS Bde units in conjunction with SO3 G1.
