The team
You will be part of the Tech Strategy & Enterprise Architecture (TS&EA) Strategic Contracting & Governance department reporting directly to Marc van Oorschot Head of SC&G. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning global technology contracts with INGs strategic goals working closely with CIOs service owners procurement legal and finance teams. The team culture is collaborative innovative and focused on delivering strategic impact.
Roles and responsibilities
As Consultant Strategic Contracting and Governance you will:
Lead strategic ownership and governance of global technology contracts
Establish internal governance cadence and ensure stakeholder alignment
Monitor contract performance and drive volume optimization and cost avoidance
Engage with CIOs to proactively manage risks and resolve escalations
Oversee legacy system decommissioning and rollout of target solutions
Collaborate with Tier 1 vendors and strategic partners to enhance supplier strategy

To succeed in this role you have:
Bachelors degree in IT Management Information Systems Law or equivalent experience
7 years in IT strategy vendor and/or contract management
Proven track record in cross-functional contract governance initiatives
Strong stakeholder management and strategic/analytical thinking
Experience with global IT contracts and supplier collaboration
Ability to drive change and align technology with business strategy
