Delivery & Warehouse Associate

PRICE ELECTRIC is seeking a motivated and hard-working Delivery and Warehouse Associate to be responsible for coordinating the daily flow of materials tools and equipment in and out of the warehouse and prefabrication areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with prepared orders
• Deliver products via the most effective route to customer sites on schedule while providing friendly service
• Timely coordinating and communicating on general items coming into or leaving the warehouse and prefabrication area
• Tracking and distributing tools enclosed trailers lifts trenchers etc.
• Verifying and filling stocked product requests
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization to ensure efficiency and lean management practices
• Keep work areas clean organized and safe
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
• Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks forklifts or hand trucks (if certified)
• Attend work regularly and reliably
• Uphold Company values in all work aspects

Education and/or Experience

• Valid Drivers License with no prior moving violations or accidents
• Valid Class A CDL preferred but not required if an otherwise qualified candidate with a valid Driver License wishes to obtain a Class A CDL the company may assist with CDL training and testing costs and additional compensation would be discussed
• Prior experience operating a forklift preferred but not required
• High school diploma required
• Willing to learn Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations

Working Environment: This position is typically performed in a warehouse environment or local driving that can include seasonal temperature changes. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required when working in specific environments.

Physical Demands:The individual must have the ability to regularly lift carry and maneuver heavy material or equipment up to 75 lbs stand walk climb squat kneel sit use feet and hands for grasping pushing and pulling.
