Job Summary:
As aMarketingSummer Intern you will work closelyacross our marketing teamto supportthe development ofhealthcare provider peer-to-peer disease education andevaluate thepayor coveragelandscapefor a recently launched role providesvaluablehands-on full-time workexperience in the pharmaceutical industry and exposure tomarketing strategiesthat drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assistin the development and execution ofdisease education programs toestablishnew treatment paradigms in raredisease.
- Engagewith cross-functional teamsincluding sales and medical affairsto gather insights and align on marketing strategies
- Support the teambymonitoringand analyzingpayormarket trends competitive activities andunderstandingcustomerneeds tosupport decision-making
- Assistin analyzingthe payor coverage landscape for a newly launched product providing an overview of the access landscape
- Participate in team meetings providing updates on assigned tasks and projects
Requirements- Currentlyenrolledin aBachelorsorMastersdegree programin business or life sciences oraPharmDprogram
- Strong interest in pharmaceuticalcommercial strategy andbrand management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders
- Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills project managementskillsand attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities must be able to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectivelyoperateindependently across functional lines and with internal customers
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
This internship will pay $26-39/hrdepending on your years of education completed.
Benefits- This is a summer internship position with a duration of8-12 weeks.
- You will be an external W2 contractor reporting to an Ascendismanagerno Ascendis benefits will be provided for this limited duration contract.
