Head Netball Coach Lead a New Programme in Kensington!
Location: Holland Park School Kensington
Hours: Saturday mornings 10:00-12:00 (2 hours per week initially; more hours as the programme grows)
Pay: 2535 per hour plus a growth based bonus scheme.
About the Programme
Were launching an exciting new Youth Netball Programme in Kensington for ages 4-11; funfocused skillsdriven and built around exceptional coaching. To get there we need a Head Netball Coach who can inspire young players and shape a programme with huge potential.
Who Were Looking For
We want a confident leader with a passion for netball and a genuine love of working with children. Youll thrive in this role if you are:
- Qualified and experienced. England Netball Level 2 Coach (or Level 1 with significant experience) and at least one year coaching children 411. An enhanced DBS safeguarding training and first aid certification must be obtained.
- Organised and reliable. Able to plan and deliver highquality sessions and take responsibility for safety and wellbeing.
- Enthusiastic and encouraging. Comfortable leading sessions independently adapting activities to different ages and abilities and making netball fun for everyone.
- A friendly face on site. Enjoys building relationships with children parents and any assistant coaches.
What Youll Do
As Head Netball Coach you will be the senior coach on site each Saturday. Your responsibilities include:
- OnCourt Leadership:
- Plan and deliver engaging ageappropriate netball sessions that develop skills confidence and teamwork.
- Ensure a safe inclusive and fun environment for all children adapting drills for mixed abilities.
- Manage and support any assistant coaches or volunteers providing guidance and feedback as needed.
- Parent & Community Engagement:
- Be the primary point of contact for parents during sessions-greeting families answering questions and providing updates.
- Foster a positive welcoming atmosphere that keeps children excited about returning each week.
- Programme Growth:
- Maintain simple session records (attendance lists equipment checks) and communicate any needs to the programme manager.
- Help shape the programmes development: your expertise will inform how we expand hours introduce new age groups and run future camps.
Note: This is a coachingonly position. Youll focus on delivering outstanding sessions. All administrative and marketing work is handled by the programme management team.
