Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst (Contract) to support the accounting team during a finance program launch for the uBreakiFix team. Responsibilities include issue resolution financial transaction validation and testing support across multiple business units.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Resolve inventory and receiving discrepancies in the accounting system.
- Close and write off aged work orders with proper documentation.
- Manage price maintenance trade agreement updates and related financial issues.
- Reconcile banking and cash transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Process and resolve customer and vendor settlements including aging cleanup.
- Investigate and correct settlement variances in compliance with financial policies.
- Support business to business account reconciliations and financial adjustments.
- Perform bad debt assessments and write-offs following approval guidelines.
- Execute UAT test scenarios and document issues ensuring workflows perform as expected.
- Conduct post-release validation to confirm accurate financial transactions and system behavior.
Qualifications:
- A proven track record of academic and professional excellence.
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance
- 2-3 years experience in a high growth or transformational environment with similar responsibilities.
- Hands-on style with ability to dig into details.
- Proficient in Excel.
- A high attention to detail required.
- Microsoft Dynamics experience viewed favorably.
- Data entry experience viewed favorably.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Information collection and management skills.
- Problem identification and research skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
