We are seeking a talented and creative Bakery Assistant to join our team at our Ashton Gardens Atlanta location. As a Bakery Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the bakery chefs needs on baking decorating and creating high-quality cakes for our customers. The role requires an individual with both culinary expertise and a strong attention to detail who can manage ordering supplies production and ensure the consistency of our products.

Job Overview and Requirements:

Location: Sugar Hill GA
Job Hours: Part-Time Hourly (2-3 Days a Week)
Pay: $16-$18 per hour
Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent culinary degree preferred
Required Experience: Minimum 1 years of cake decorating experience
Certifications: ServSafe Food Handlers or equivalent
Physical Requirements: Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs.
Other:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; Walters Hospitality participates in E-Verify
- Submit/complete background check; have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation

DUTIES:

Responsible for baking cakes desserts and cake decorating.
Must be familiar with basic textures such as stone horizontal stucco wedding dots and palette.
Must have a working knowledge of food coloring fondant edible images and cake design.
