Job Summary

Position: Civil Engineer
Location: Pickering ON (Hybrid 2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 9 months to start
Pay:$68.00 - $78.00 p/h inc.

Deliverables

Lead and support engineering design changes modifications and upgrades in accordance with the Engineering Change Control process.
Prepare review and approve engineering documentation including specifications calculations drawings and technical reports while ensuring compliance with regulatory and engineering standards.
Conduct technical assessments field walkdowns design reviews and risk evaluations to support project scope issue resolution and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors provide technical oversight and mentorship and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Experience Required

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls) with Professional Engineer designation in Ontario or eligibility for registration.
Demonstrated experience working as a Design Engineer with Engineering Change Control processes in nuclear power generation or heavy industrial environments.
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience delivering design changes modifications and upgrades in regulated environments.
Strong experience preparing engineering documentation and using engineering tools such as AutoCAD AssetSuite and calculation software.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams with strong technical writing communication and problem-solving skills.
