Location: Pickering ON (Hybrid 2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 9 months to start
Pay:$68.00 - $78.00 p/h inc.

Deliverables- Lead and support engineering design changes modifications and upgrades in accordance with the Engineering Change Control process.
- Prepare review and approve engineering documentation including specifications calculations drawings and technical reports while ensuring compliance with regulatory and engineering standards.
- Conduct technical assessments field walkdowns design reviews and risk evaluations to support project scope issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors provide technical oversight and mentorship and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls) with Professional Engineer designation in Ontario or eligibility for registration.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Design Engineer with Engineering Change Control processes in nuclear power generation or heavy industrial environments.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience delivering design changes modifications and upgrades in regulated environments.
- Strong experience preparing engineering documentation and using engineering tools such as AutoCAD AssetSuite and calculation software.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams with strong technical writing communication and problem-solving skills.
