Performs professional outreach work as directed by the Economic Development Department. Serves as a key point of contact for Downtown Orlando businesses and community members seeking information and resources. Responsibilities include developing and implementing outreach initiatives to foster strong connections overseeing the day-to-day operations of Downtown Orlandos visitor information center and retail store anddeveloping and executing special projects and programs to engage with the local community and supervising staff. Work is performed independently and reviewed by the Downtown Development Board/Community Redevelopment Agencys (DDB/CRA) Marketing & Communications Managerthrough regular meetings and communication. Must periodically work evening hours weekends and holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Management Public Administration or related field and two (2) years of business outreach experience including one (1) year of experience in a progressively responsible lead or supervisory capacity and some customer service experience; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Accounting knowledge is preferred. Valid Florida Drivers License required. Must pass background check which includes a polygraph.
