acemate is building an AI learning & teaching platform for higher and further education institutions. We have strong traction secured funding and are entering an exciting growth phase. Were looking for a passionate Mobile App Developer (React Native) to drive our product forward and help us scale.

Tasks
What Youll Do
As Mobile Software Developer and a core team member you will be a core product owner with significant influence on our mobile architecture and user experience. You will take end-to-end ownership of the systems that power our mobile features from UI architecture and state management to API integration and performance monitoring.
- Own the full mobile lifecycle: From architectural decisions and component structure to release management observability and debugging. You build it you ship it you improve it.
- Architect for scale and product value: You wont just implement screens. Youll design scalable mobile architectures define offline-first strategies where needed and ensure seamless integration with our API and AI systems.
- Drive technical excellence: Proactively identify performance bottlenecks improve app startup time and responsiveness and raise the bar for reliability UX consistency and maintainability.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Strong experience with TypeScript & React Native.
- End-to-End Ownership: You dont throw things over the wall. You own your features until they are running successfully in production and used by real learners.
- Startup experience: Youre comfortable in fast-paced evolving environments
- Balanced AI approach: You knew how to code before Cursor and Claude Code but understand how to leverage them effectively
- Product passion: High identification with our mission to transform education
