Job Summary:
The Robotics Vehicle Engineering Intern will support the New Product Development team in the design integration and testing of prototype military vehicles. This internship provides hands-on experience in all aspects of incorporating remote-controls drive-by-wire hybrid-electric autonomy sensors and special payloads onto small Uncrewed Ground Vehicles (UGV) and large Tactical Trucks.
*The Internship is located in Auburn Hills MI.
Essential Functions:
- Develop maintain and improve documentation such as purchase requisitions CAD drawings work instructions and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assist in coordinating cross-departmental projects.
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Support process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Education & Experience
- Pursuing a bachelors degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School diploma or GED
Background Prerequisites:
Must undergo and meet company standards for background check employment verification reference checks physical and controlled substance testing.
