Job Description

Title : Network / Telecom Operations Documentation Engineer

Location : Remote is okay for USA

Duration : 6 Weeks Project with possible extension

Rate : $60 to $65/hr w2

Role Summary

This role focuses on documenting how the network is operated day to day. The emphasis is on operational clarity repeatability and alignment with defined technical standards. This individual works closely with NOC operations and support teams to capture real-world processes and turn them into clear actionable documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Create and maintain operational runbooks SOPs and troubleshooting guides
Document day-to-day operational processes including monitoring incident response change execution and escalation paths
Align operational documentation with existing network and telecom standards and architectures
Translate technical standards into practical operational procedures
Capture tribal knowledge from operations teams and formalize it into documented processes
Keep documentation current as tools processes and environments evolve
Support onboarding and training efforts through clear operational documentation

Skills & Experience

Background in network or telecom operations NOC or support environments
Strong understanding of operational workflows incident management and change processes
Experience creating SOPs runbooks and operational playbooks
Ability to work closely with engineers and operators to document real-world processes
Detail-oriented with a focus on clarity and usability
