Backup & Recovery - using pgdump pgrestore pgbasebackup and third-party tools such as Barman or pgBackRest

Performance Tuning - query optimization indexing strategies EXPLAIN/ANALYZE usage vacuum/analyze and connection pool tuning with PgBouncer or Pgpool-II

Security Management - role-based access control SSL/TLS configuration auditing and data encryption

Automation & Scripting - shell scripting Python and cron jobs for database maintenance tasks

Monitoring & Diagnostics - tools such as pgAdmin pgstatactivity pgstatstatements Prometheus Grafana for performance tracking

Data Migration & Integration - using COPY FDW (Foreign Data Wrappers) and ETL tools like Apache NiFi or Airflow

Partitioning & Advanced Features - table partitioning JSON/JSONB data handling and full-text search

Collaboration with development teams for schema design stored procedures and query optimization
