Job Summary
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to provide high-quality home care services to patients in Detroit MI and the surrounding areas. This role involves delivering personalized nursing care in patients homes ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes including medication administration wound care and health assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team and family members.
- Educate patients and their families on managing illness medication and recovery plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care and patient progress.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferably in home care or community health.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes within Detroit and surrounding areas.
