Operator Adjuster

Overview
A successful operator adjuster will be able to set up monitor and adjust machinery and equipment to ensure it operates correctly safely and efficiently during production.
Responsibilities
- Under supervision perform simple repairs and preventive maintenance
- Assist in repairs and modifications of equipment
- Must be able to read diagrams and manufacturers manuals
- Must have a thorough understanding of forming equipment
- Perform other duties or tasks required by the supervisor
- Tweaking troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment in Forming HP
- Assist other team members as needed
Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Should possess basic mechanical skills
- Must be capable of working in hot dusty areas
- Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs frequently. and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Must have basic troubleshooting abilities
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have basic computer and math skills
- Must be able to read basic English
- Must be able to work with machine shop tools
- Due to fluctuating production levels employees may be asked to work beyond their normally scheduled work hours or less than their normally scheduled work hours. Employees may be required to work weekends or partial weekends on a scheduled basis. You may also be called in during non-scheduled hours.
- Regularly required to stand sit move about the facility climb stairs bend twist kneel crouch or crawl use hands and fingers to touch handle or feel objects tools and controls grasp push pull reach with hands and arms and lift above shoulder level. Specific vision abilities required include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
