Job Summary

Position Title: Underground Maintenance Supervisor Location: West Elk MineJob Type: Full-TimeApplication Deadline: Friday February 20 2026Position SummaryProvide direction and supervision to hourly employees responsible for underground coal mine maintenance in immediate area of responsibility including but not limited to: longwall continuous miner or belt maintenance. Target ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring that operational objectives are met in a safe and timely manner and in compliance within environmental regulationsPlan organize schedule and coordinate maintenance activities with all levels of the organizationEnsure availability of necessary parts and tools as necessaryActively support and promote Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) Minimum Qualifications Five plus (5) years of underground mine maintenance experienceMSHA Electrical certification (low medium high voltage surface and underground)Demonstrated experience with West Elk Warriors BBS processMust have demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal)Must have computer skillsPossess understanding of planning function and necessity of detail-oriented workPrevious supervisory experience preferred demonstrated leadership characteristicsCompensation and BenefitsPay rate: Salaried Non-Exempt (EX) 09 $93830 - $140740 annually Eligible for Performance Recognition Plan (bonus)Benefits: Medical dental vision life insurance AD&D insurance 401(k) retirement plan HSA paid holidays vacation.
