Role Summary and Impact

The Tax Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant fulfillment of all tax obligations in accordance with current regulations while maintaining rigorous control over current tax assets. This pivotal role encompasses the comprehensive planning execution and supervision of annual and periodic tax settlements formal obligations and critical reporting including the preparation of the annual income tax return and relevant annexes. By actively monitoring compliance responding to fiscal control entity requirements and providing internal tax advisory the coordinator plays a crucial part in mitigating tax risks and ensuring the financial accuracy legal compliance and operational efficiency of the tax function thereby directly impacting the companys financial health and regulatory standing.Skills and Experience:

Analytical & Technical Proficiency:

Expert Tax Knowledge:Deep understanding and application of national and territorial tax regulations ensuring full compliance.
Comprehensive Tax Calculations:Proficient in preparing and settling various taxes including income tax (annual & intermediate) VAT ICA and withholdings with attention to detail and accuracy.
Tax Reporting & Reconciliation:Skilled in generating financial tax reports including información exógena and reconciliation formats (e.g. 2516) and managing tax assets/liabilities.
Control & Audit Management:Ability to design tax controls identify risks and effectively manage responses to fiscal audits and requirements.
Financial & Budgetary Acumen:Experience in tax payment budgeting and analyzing contractual tax implications.
Advanced Software Proficiency:Highly proficient in Excel and familiarity with tax authority platforms; knowledge of IFRS.

Communication & Collaboration:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining effective relationships with internal teams media partners and external vendors.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment providing support and actively participating in discussions.
Proactive communication style to report anomalies alerts and progress keeping stakeholders informed at all times.
