This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team contribute to integrated health care delivery and develop your practice across generalist and palliative care settings.
About the Role:
Under the direct supervision of an experienced Social Worker the Social Worker (AHP1) will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services appropriate to the needs of the local community. Working as part of a multi-professional team that includes health professionals and service providers from other sectors you will utilise a combination of preventative early intervention therapeutic and evaluative approaches including individual therapy and group programs to support positive outcomes for consumers.
At this level the Social Worker (AHP2) will apply clinical experience increasingly generalist and/or specialist knowledge and professional competence to plan implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services tailored to the needs of rural and remote communities. Working under reduced clinical direction you may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals allied health assistants and students. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team you will utilise preventative early intervention therapeutic and evaluative approaches including individual therapy and group programs to support consumers and their families across rural generalist and palliative care contexts.
