The Senior Learning & Development Partner leads the design implementation and continuous improvement of development programs and initiatives that strengthen leadership and professional capability across our connected dealer network and external partners. This role blends strategic consulting instructional design program development and facilitation to drive measurable impact aligned with the Caterpillar refreshed enterprise strategy. You will partner with business leaders across our product segments and functions to diagnose capability needs build scalable development solutions and deliver learning experiences that prepare dealer leadership for current and future demands. This is a high impact role for a strategic thinker and skilled practitioner who thrives on building influencing and elevating talent within a complex global environment.

What You Will Do:

Strategic Learning & Organizational Development

  • Establish and maintain processes to assess changing business needs for leadership professional skills and organizational development.
  • Provide expert consulting on complex development challenges including capability gaps leadership needs and large-scale learning solutions.
  • Design global and cross functional development programs that directly support business priorities.

Program & Curriculum Design

  • Manage the creation of high-quality learning content using modern instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
  • Manage development of digital courses instructor led content blended learning solutions and toolkits that address identified needs.
  • Evaluate pilot programs and existing curricula to recommend scalable enhancements for enterprise deployment.

Leadership Development

  • Lead the design and delivery of executive level development experiences including advanced leadership programs strategic capability workshops and high impact learning sessions tailored for dealer senior leaders across the dealer network.
  • Partner with executive sponsors and business leaders to identify critical leadership capability gaps and translate them into targeted learning journeys that build strategic operational and people leadership excellence.
  • Coach and facilitate sessions with senior leaders leveraging strong executive presence to guide discussions influence thinking and cultivate a culture of continuous leadership development.

Deployment & Delivery

  • Manage regional deployment of programs with efficiency and impact leveraging technology vendor partnerships and internal resources.
  • Facilitate engaging learning experiences and coach others on effective delivery methods.
  • Ensure effective coordination of operational logistics delivery schedules and resource planning for successful training execution.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Assess program effectiveness through data feedback and business outcomes.
  • Integrate insights to continuously refine content technology and delivery approaches.
  • Capture lessons learned and apply them to future program design and operational improvement.

What You Will Have:

Consulting: Extensive knowledge of techniques roles and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.

Influencing: Extensive knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

Problem Solving: Extensive knowledge of approaches tools techniques for recognizing anticipating and resolving organizational operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Training Needs Analysis: Extensive knowledge of tools techniques and methods of training needs analyses; ability to identify what people need to learn for successful individual and organizational performance.

Training Solution Development: Extensive knowledge of training solution development procedures tools and techniques; ability to utilize the knowledge for developing a solution to stated training needs.

Training Delivery: Extensive knowledge of methods and tools of training delivery; Ability to deliver learning solutions for desired training outcomes.

Instructional Design: Working knowledge of relevant instructional design concepts and processes; ability to lead design of instructional content to meet the learning needs of a target population.

Training Technologies: Working knowledge of training tools and techniques; ability to utilize software technologies and applications for the creation and development of training programs and processes.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development HR Organizational Development Education or related field.
  • Extensive experience designing delivering and consulting on learning and leadership development programs.
  • Strong influencing skills and stakeholder management capabilities across complex or distributed environments.
  • Proven ability to use needs assessments and data to guide learning strategy and program design.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $147760.00 - $221640.00

    Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
