We are currently hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Recovery for a leading hospital in South Dublin Ireland. Join a team committed to delivering exceptional patient care with a focus on quality respect compassion and dignity.
Responsibilities
Provide strong professional and clinical leadership ensuring the highest standards of patient care using evidence-based practice.
Oversee clinical operations within the assigned area maintaining a visible presence and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Manage and support nursing staff promoting teamwork morale mandatory training compliance and effective communication.
Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives including monitoring complaints auditing and maintaining nursing standards and policies.
Ensure accurate complete documentation and uphold best-practice guidelines protocols and infection-prevention standards.
Participate in recruitment workforce planning and optimal allocation of nursing and support staff based on service needs and workload.
Collaborate with patients families multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers to support effective care planning and referrals.
Maintain high standards of clinical governance risk management and equipment safety within the unit.
Assess identify and support staff training needs; facilitate education teaching learning opportunities and student placements.
Take responsibility for personal professional development through ongoing education skill enhancement and participation in relevant programmes
Requirements
Registered in the General Division of An Bord Altranais (or NMBI).
A minimum of five years post-registration nursing experience including at least two years of recent experience in Theatre and/or Recovery.
Hold a relevant management qualification or demonstrate appropriate management experience applicable to the role.
Provide clear evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
