We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 -Medical ward for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical and professional leadership to nursing staff within the Medical Ward.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care in line with hospital policies and best practice guidelines.
Coordinate and oversee the assessment planning implementation and evaluation of patient care.
Support and supervise nursing staff promoting professional development and performance management.
Manage daily ward operations including staffing allocation and resource management.
Monitor and maintain clinical standards through audit risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with HIQA NMBI infection prevention and health & safety standards.
Act as a role model in clinical practice and maintain a visible presence in the ward environment.
Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient flow.
Participate in service development policy implementation and strategic planning for the ward.
Requirements
Registered Nurse on the active register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Evidence of current annual registration with NMBI.
Demonstrated effective leadership and communication skills.
Proven clinical expertise with auditing and managerial experience.
Management qualification and/or management experience desirable.
