Job Description:

The Inspector is responsible for performing basic inspection activities to ensure that received raw materials (piece parts wafers die) meet specified requirements before use in production. This entry-level role supports the Quality Management System (QMS) by conducting visual and measurement inspections maintaining accurate inspection records and assisting with general quality documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and approve materials by confirming specifications and performing visual and basic dimensional tests using calibrated tools.

  • Review paperwork and documentation for completeness and accuracy.

  • Utilize microscopes for basic piece part inspections.

  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; input data into the quality database.

  • Scan and archive completed quality paperwork in SharePoint.

  • Support AS9100-compliant QMS through adherence to established procedures.

  • Communicate inspection findings and issues to senior inspectors engineers and supervisors.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • 02 years of experience in quality inspection (electronics or machining industry preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of measuring instruments (calipers gauges micrometers).

  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

The hourly pay range for this position which could be performed in the US is $18.00 - $25.00.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location skills and experience.
