Salary Information
Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.

Nature of Work
The fundamental reason this position exists isto assist the mental health court in identifying participants and assistingclients assigned to the mental health court in complying with programsrequirements. Work responsibilities includeassessment and research of possible participants developing andrecommending referrals developing treatment and transitional plans andmaintaining data on programs and its participants. This position reports to the Community Corrections Director. This position also will work with the Mental Health Court Judge.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have a Masters Degree inCounseling Social Work Psychology or a closely-related field and at least two(2) years of clinical counseling experience or a combination of education andexperience.
NOTE: Qualifyingeducation training and experience that provide the requisite knowledge skillsand abilities to perform the job will be considered
Special Requirements
Must be willing to work with pre-trial or post-trial individuals who have various forms of mental illness.
