OpenText Exstream Cloud Native (CN) Developer CCM Engineer

ROLEDESCRIPTION -

You will design build and run largescale Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions on OpenText Communications (Exstream) Cloud Native (CN). The work spans document design in Communications Designer orchestration with Communications Orchestrator business content authoring via Content Author and enterprisegrade promotion/approvals across nonprod and prod domains. You will collaborate with product owners infra/tenant admins DevOps and crossvendor teams to modernize onprem Exstream workloads and deliver highvolume batch and realtime communications in Kubernetes environments (AKS/EKS/OpenText Cloud/private cloud).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design communications in Communications Designer; model flows in Communications Orchestrator; enable businessside edits in Content Author with robust approval workflows.
• Assess existing serverbased/legacy packages (including PUBbased apps). Execute redesigns or rationalized liftandshift where appropriate; leverage CN accelerators (e.g. .docx/PDF design importers component export/import via DAS).
• Engineer highvolume/bulk and interactive/ondemand outputs; profile engine throughput; partner with infra on Kubernetes scaling HA/DR and resource tuning (CPU/memory/vCores).
• Implement automated build test and promotion pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Git); enforce domainbased promotions and approvals to prod.
• Model inputs (JSON XML flat/reference/report files) and outputs (PDF/print streams/email/SMS/HTML); ensure regulatory language integrity and brand governance.
• Troubleshoot CN designtool/runtime issues (e.g. save failures timeouts); differentiate application vs infrastructure causes; drive rootcause and preventive actions.
• Coordinate multiteam factory model delivery; lead technical discussions with business areas; contribute to architecture decisions and platform roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience

• Handson with CE 25.x features; deep usage of Communications Designer Content Author Orchestrator DAS/OTDS and domain promotion workflows.
• Onprem (classic) to CN migrations PUB rationalization; experience using .docx/PDF design importers introduced in 25.x.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/OpenText Cloud) containerized deployments scaling observability; familiarity with CN being deployable anywhere (public/private/offcloud).
• CI/CD (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Git) pipeline governance; scripting (PowerShell/Bash) for automation.
• JSON XML flat/reference/report inputs; omnichannel outputs (PDF/print/email/SMS/web).
• Experience coordinating multivendor delivery and developing the factory model (20 developers).
