JOB PURPOSE
As the Senior Manager Strategy & Insights for Networks you will act as Chief of Staff to the Managing Director supporting strategic programs and driving business excellence. Youll serve as the primary business interface with Liberty Globals operating companies managing commercial engagement through the Service Catalogue and ensuring network services align with market needs. This role requires strong stakeholder management strategic thinking and ability to translate complex technical information into actionable business insights for executive decision-making.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Service Catalogue & Commercial Engagement
Coordinate evolution and maintain the Network Service Catalogue working with technical and product teams
Drive commercial engagement with local markets (OpCos) acting as primary business interface for Networks services
Coordinate executive-level engagement between Networks leadership and OpCo stakeholders
Ensure Service Catalogue aligns with market needs innovation priorities and commercial frameworks
Business Planning & Financial Coordination
Coordinate business planning processes including Long Range Planning (LRP) annual budgeting and strategic planning
Work with Finance and VP Tech Allocation on budget coordination financial tracking and business case support
Coordinate input from Networks leadership into Liberty Global planning processes
Support financial planning by providing business context and market intelligence
Strategic Analysis & Market Intelligence
Analyze telecommunications market trends competitive strategies and regulatory developments
Conduct benchmarking of network deployment strategies and infrastructure investments
Assess emerging network technologies and provide analysis for Networks leadership
Support business case development and strategic analysis for network investments
Roadmap Coordination
Coordinate network technology roadmap materials working with roadmap teams to consolidate inputs
Provide strategic analysis and market intelligence to inform Networks strategy
Support roadmap planning by coordinating across mobile and fixed network teams
Conduct competitive intelligence activities to inform Networks strategic positioning
Stakeholder Management
Act as primary business interface between Networks and Liberty Global OpCos
Build strong relationships across Networks Technology Product Commercial Finance and OpCo leadership
Represent Networks in cross-functional forums and strategic planning sessions
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executive audiences
Chief of Staff & Strategic Support
Act as Chief of Staff to MD Networks supporting strategic programs and coordinating cross-functional initiatives
Drive informed decision-making across Networks organization through data-driven insights and analysis
Prepare high-quality presentations and analysis for MD senior leadership Executive Leadership Team and Board
Run strategic and special projects as assigned by senior management
Support MD in managing strategic priorities and ensuring alignment with Liberty Global objectives
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Essential:
Relevant years of experience in business management strategy commercial roles or management consulting within telecommunications or technology industries
Proven track record as strategic support role to senior executives
Strong stakeholder management and commercial engagement skills with OpCo leadership
Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate technical information into business insights
Experience with business planning financial coordination and strategic analysis in multi-market organizations
Strategic thinker with ability to simplify complex information for effective communication
Preferred:
Telecommunications or network infrastructure industry experience
Background in commercial management account management or business development
Experience with Service Catalogue or product portfolio management
Knowledge of network economics and telecommunications business models
MBA or advanced degree in Business or Strategy
