The Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 3 years of experience based in Abuja to join our growing team. This is a full-time hybrid role that combines hands-on technical delivery with meaningful client-facing interactions.
You will play a key role in designing building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with internal teams and external clients to deliver reliable secure and cost-optimized solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design deploy and manage cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and automated deployments
Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform CloudFormation or similar
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize system performance availability and cost
Ensure infrastructure security compliance and best practices
Administer and support Linux-based systems
Collaborate with clients to understand requirements explain solutions and provide technical guidance
Work closely with engineering and delivery teams in a hybrid work environment
Requirements
3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps Cloud or Infrastructure role
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools
Experience with AWS and cloud-native technologies
Strong Linux system administration skills
Proficiency in scripting or software development (e.g. Python Bash or similar)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Comfortable in a client-facing role with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
Nice to Have
AWS certifications
Experience supporting production environments for multiple clients
Exposure to security compliance or cost-optimization best practices
