SR. SUPPLY MANAGER IIAT Supply Management -Capital

As anIndividual ContributorinGlobal Procurement Supply Managementyou will develop and execute a holistic strategy and be part of a global team dedicated to this function across all Assembly and Test manufacturing locations.In this role you will partner with stakeholders to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance for continued sourcing success and improvements.

You willparticipatein and/or lead the development and implementation of category strategies and projects related to but not limited to supply base optimization lead time reductions cashflow management cost of ownership reduction initiatives and pricing/contract negotiations. You will also work with stakeholders and suppliers to resolve and prevent critical issues surrounding quality and delivery.

This will be doneby understanding current and future needs an analysis of market and company trends perform andparticipatein the benchmarking of world-class approaches andidentifyopportunities toleveragechanges in processessystemsand product/services. Then prioritize and drive the implementation based upon estimating timing and level of savings captured.

Other responsibilities include ensuring department compliancetocompany policies and departmental procedures. You willbe responsible forproviding input back to leadership on the building and implementing department strategies processes and policy through active participation on teams and projects.

This role requires close collaboration with Category Supplier Managers Central Engineering Planning/Industrial Engineering Site Engineering Finance Legal and other stakeholders.

Manage procurement process for Capital Spares and Services

Manage Procure to Pay (P2P) process for capitalsparesand services not limited to delivery date follow up cash flow maintenance budgeting process invoice reconciliation.

Maintain on-time delivery (OTD) to meet thenetworkcapacity requirement

Manage Supplier Relationship

Act as primary point of contact for site/networksuppliers

Perform commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers

Maintain collaborative relationships with supplier(s) while resolving supplierperformance/capabilityissues

Ensure supplierscomply withMicrons code-of-conduct programs and corporate social responsibility initiatives

Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization

Provide the voice of the supply base to Micron and provide the voice of Micron to the supply base

Identifyand Implement Supplier-Related Savings Levers

Utilize data and should-cost models to drive cost improvement

Serve as the subject matter expert for suppliers sharing knowledge with key stakeholders

Drive Negotiations with Suppliers for Sustaining Purchases

Lead orparticipatein negotiations for contract extensions and renewals

Coordinate withCategory Supplier Manager on global negotiations or lead local/regional sourcing events / RFQ process.

Develop a contract strategy for managed suppliers and create negotiatemonitor and enforce contracted terms and conditions

Ensure Supplier Performance Management

Partner with the Category team to build comprehensive view of supplier performance

Collect and relay site- specific priorities to suppliers

Collaborate internally to drive and develop key performance measures/metrics for Strategic Suppliers andmonitorsupplier performance against these expectations to ensure continuous supplier improvement

AI-Enabled Continuous Improvement

Adopt andleadautomation orAI enabledcontinuous improvement projects/initiativesto driveoverallbusiness process simplificationproductivityand operational excellence improvements.

Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in:
Engineering
Supply Chain Management
Related field of study

Experiences

Minimum7years experience in one or more of the following: EngineeringPurchasing/Procurement Supply Chain

Skill sets/traits:

Demonstration of strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

Strong communicationskills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate(leading without authority)

Demonstraterelationship management skillsfor complex matrix organization
