About the Role
Ohel is seeking a friendly responsible and self-motivatedHuman Resources Secretaryto join our team. You will play a key role in overseeing staff onboarding ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every new hire. Beyond onboarding you will support general HR functions and provide essential administrative assistance to the HR department.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate a welcoming onboarding process ensuring all documentation is accurate compliant and completed prior to start dates.
- Schedule appointments for document review and coordinate fingerprinting and background clearances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within our HRIS and physical personnel files.
- Provide general daily administrative assistance to the HR team as needed.
Qualifications
- Skills:Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy:Comfortable navigating Microsoft Office and a proven ability to learn new software programs.
- Professionalism:Ability to work with others with patience professionalism and to multitask.
- Experience:Prior HR experience is preferred andwe are willing to train the right candidate.
This full-time position is based in Brooklyn and offers a flexible schedule with two evenings (until 6:30 pm) per week required. Position includes a competitive benefits package that includes a 403B retirement plan with employee contribution sick and vacation paid time off (PTO) and for full-time employees health insurance. Free access to onsite gym included! Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked employment classification and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements.
Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
