Material Handler- Foley Alabama

Monday-Friday: 5:30AM-2:00PM

Payrate: $21.64 hourly

As a Material Handler you will be a crucial part of our operations ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect peoples lives!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform on-site material handling duties including scanning storing organizing and distributing materials and products.
• Review customer orders work orders or requisitions to identify items that must be moved collected or distributed.
• Transport materials from receiving or production areas to appropriate storage or work areas.
• Sort and place materials on racks shelves or in bins according to established sequences (e.g. FIFO).
• Communicate professionally via email and Microsoft Teams; run reports; perform inventory scans; break down pallets; and deliver materials to proper locations.
• Work flexible hours and observe floating holidays based on customer demand.
• Operate stand up forklift as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand English.
• Prior material handling experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are highly preferred
• Aerospace industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain PPG forklift certification
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to stand stoop kneel crouch lift carry and reach materials as part of daily work.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends based on operational needs. Must pass a federal and state criminal background check including MVR (motor vehicle record) prior to employment
