As a Locum Anesthesiologist you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and contributing to the overall success of our practice. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Location:
Tampa or Zephyrhills Florida
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and consultations
- Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide appropriate patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay updated on best practices and advancements in anesthesiology
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the operating room
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in Anesthesiology
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Previous experience in a clinical anesthesiology setting preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts specific dates
Shifts available at two facilities
Patient Census: 10 per day
Multispecialty caseloads
Must be proficient in blocks
Board certification or board eligibility required
Paid travel & expenses
