The Sheet Metal Fabricator II position for Pall Aeropower Corporation is responsible for producing components and custom fabrications to blueprint and work instruction specifications.
This position is part of the Fabrication department and will be located in New Port Richey FL. Our mission is to solve our customers biggest filtration separation and purification challenges. And in doing so advance health safety and environmentally responsible technologies.
First Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Overtime is routine)
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Setup machinery related to the area (shear deburring equipment brake press etc.) and perform preventative maintenance as required
Produce measure and fabricate complex parts to ensure compliance to blueprint and work instruction specifications using various hand and power tools
Operate shear deburring equipment brake press etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma or local equivalent (i.e. GED) and two years of precision sheet metal fabrication experience
Understand and use all measuring equipment (calipers height gauge etc.)
Proficient with shop math
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Utilizing computer/computer applications to access work instructions.
Aerospace sheet metal fabrication experience
Other requirements:
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities technical data technology software and services. U.S. citizenship U.S. legal permanent resident status protected person status or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization including if required an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
